| nat 11/14/2009 | A cool bar with a great selection of whiskies and cigarettes and cigars. Apparently, the owner convinced the Mass ABCC that their revenue is at least 51% tobacco and that's how you get a license for a 'smoking bar'. | Rating: 9/10 |
| Dave 01/23/2008 | It's been all downhill since they closed up the hole that "Freddies" use to send the pizzas out of into the bar area. Does this place have potential?...sure...but so did Obama in the New Hampshire primary. New paint on the outside does help though. But since when does an "Irish" bar accentuate itself in bleached oak & maple...and loooooooooooooose the s-o-c-c-e-r!!!!!!!!!!! | Rating: 4/10 |
01/21/2008 | I drove past the Pickled Onion and it's huge sign for years before finally stopping in. What I found was a great neighborhood bar with good food and live music. This is not a dive bar where you need to burn your shoes after using the bathroom. I'll be back sometime for a low key dinner at the bar and maybe to see a band. | Rating: 8/10 |
